Advert
It is the advertisers responsibility to check that all adverts submitted meet the Pocket Horse Terms and Conditions.
Each advert must be for one saleable item or set of items, not to be sold individually.
Adverts will be marked as sold once item(s) have been sold. However, we cannot guarantee that listings are still available. Sellers should contact Pocket Horse via email when a listing has been sold.
Business logos, web sites and links should not to be included in item adverts, if they are included they will be removed or given the opportunity to switch to a Service/Business advert, where this is permitted.
Once you have submitted your advert, our team will check that it meets our requirements and complies with our terms and conditions. Should your advert not meet the requirements you will be contacted by the team via email, to either amend the advert, or you will be issued a refund. Please allow up to 48 hours for the advert to be authorised by our team.
Checks include spelling and punctuation, capitalised text will be reverted to lowercase. Text inputted to the wrong field of the advert may be moved the the relevant field.
It is the advertiser’s responsibility to inform Pocket Horse if your advert details have changed, making the advert no longer accurate. We may amend advert titles if they are not deemed accurate to the item(s) being advertised.
Amends to your advert are welcome, however only once per advert. We will only accept minor text changes or relevant changes to the item. Changes which change the item(s) originally listed will not be accepted. To amend you advert please email us with your advert title and/or web link and the changes you would like to be made.
Adverts submitted under the wrong category will be changed. Not sure which category is right for you?
Adverts will stay live on the site for the allotted time (see Current Rates and prices). We will contact you by email one week before expiry. If your listing sells before this time, please inform us via email.
An email address is required for all adverts, so that we can contact you about your advert, and so that you can make changes to your advert.
Refunds
Pocket Horse does not issue refunds for adverts once they been published on the Pocket Horse website.
Photos
Photos must be plain, not containing logos, watermarks or other graphics. We cannot accept screenshots from social media, other adverts or materials such as posters. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that images and text submitted are not breaching copyright or privacy laws.
We cannot use images of animals breeding. Horses advertised as broken to ride or drive at less than 24 months old will not be accepted. If we believe your advert does not meet the Animal Welfare Act (UK) it will not be accepted.
The Advertiser
If you are advertising as a trader/business, by law you are required to declare this. Not sure if this is you? Contact your local Trading Standards for help.
Advertisers must be 18 years old or over.
Sharing
Pocket Horse may share your advert through social media and advertising platforms, to gain the best reach as possible.
Discount codes
Current discounts available are 50% off your first advert, using code “WELCOME50” this is redeemable against all advert types and can only be used one time. This does not apply to advert renewals and these will charged at full price.
Disclaimer
Pocket Horse Sales LTD holds the right to refuse adverts, without any reason. You will be automatically refunded in this case.
Refunds will not be issued after your advert has been accepted and posted to the website.
Items for sale must not be counterfeit or stolen. You must have permission to list items for sale, if they are not your own.
Pocket Horse Sales LTD is not responsible for the content in any advert.
The nature of Pocket Horse means that we cannot guarantee the 100% availability of items listed on the Pocket Horse site, and the service is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’. Pocket Horse accepts no responsibility for loss or damages without limitation arising from non-availability or from the uses of Pocket Horse services or equipment.
