River - Retrained Racehorse

Description

River is a beautiful 9yo 16.2 gelding by Fame and Glory.

He last ran in January and has since been in a private home as a happy hacker.

He is a sweet horse under saddle and on the ground.

Not a total novices ride but is kind, willing and generally uncomplicated.

He has no vices and no previous injuries having retired from racing sound. He pops a fence sweetly and is happy to pop logs, rails and gates etc.

He would make a lovely hunting horse or general allrounder. Hes been schooled nicely in training and has a nice way of going on the flat. With a couple more weeks of fine tuning he'll be ready to go and do a dressage test.

He hacks on his own and in company and has been a good boy with farm traffic, machinery and farm life.

Hes been out XC schooling where he behaved impeccably and showed great ability and a good attitude over fences, jumping skinnes, ditches, corners and water without any hassle. Hes got natural ability over a fence and is a genuinely lovely ride.

A long term home is an absolute priority for this lovely chap.
