2008 dark bay Oldenburg branded SPSS Graded stallion.

As described by the SPSS grading assessors, this little stallion is very definitely, ‘bred in the purple’ for show jumping.

Land Star is a truly beautiful young stallion who is fantastically well engineered & seriously athletic.

Land Star is by our own Oldenburg Elite stallion Lauriston. Lauriston competed internationally & is a proven sire of top international competition horses, including Ian Miller’s Olympic horse Promise Me.

Of recent note for Sports Pony breeders is the fact that Lauriston is the dam-sire of Jessica Mendoza’s team Gold & individual Bronze medal winning Team GB pony Tixilix.

Land Star’s dam Lara, also an Oldenburg bred by Paul Schockemohle, is by Olympic individual silver medallist Lando. Lara is out of a Quick Star (Meredith Michael-Beerbaums) x Sandro mare.

It is anticipated that Land Star will live up to his impressive pedigree, as once broken he will start his competitive career with 2009 European Junior Champion & 2010 Youth Olympic Team Gold medallist Carian Scudamore.
